Safe and Sound

Deep dive into the unknown.

Your goal is to ride the submersible elevator down as deep as you can go. However, beware of the ocean fish(?) that lurk around and may obstruct your journey. Some may simply wander in the sea, while others might not. (??)

You will be equipped with one scanner sonar and one distraction sonar to help you observe the movements of these fish(???). This will enable you to plan your route and avoid danger. Keep in mind that each fish(????) may react differently to different types of sonar, so observe their behavior carefully.

Each sonar device can be operated by inserting the "Directional Interface Calculation Equipment," or D.I.C.E, which can change your sonar pinging pattern into six different patterns. Unfortunately, some devices may not function correctly as intended, so you may need to rely on luck to the one that works for planning your scanning pattern by combining both of them into a useful pattern.
